Digital Domain reunited with United Airlines and its creative agency mcgarrybowen to launch the airline’s new “Fly the Friendly Skies” four-spot campaign. Led by VFX supervisor Jay Barton, artists created visual ties between live-action elements, digitally extended scenes, and created subtle, artful transition between exteriors and interiors. The spots feature a fully-CG satellite, space vistas, plane parts sliding into place just as passengers need them and motion graphics to illustrate how every United amenity provides a path to “friendly.”
