For the scene in which the heroes stumble across Death Valley’s ‘Area 52,’ Digital Domain created animated aliens that interact directly with real human characters. Also, when the villain’s identity is revealed, we see him change personas several times as he seem to ‘unzip’ from one disguise to another.
