Extensive pre-visualization helped determine the perfect textures and physical qualities for this delicate concept from director Brian Beletic, achieving the analogy of “falling apart” without losing the photorealistic appearance. Athletes were filmed against a green-screen, and that information was used as the basis for a digital wire frame of their performance.
